All Adult Dog Walks
An hour long solo dog walk with the intention of joining a group.

One thing we are seeing more and more after lockdown is the dogs that are not ready to go into a group walk, but really would like to.

We offer a short-term service to clients who would like their dog to go in our group walks but do remember not all dogs are suitable for a group walk. The younger they start, the greater the chances they will enjoy a group walk. This is generally only suitable for dogs under 18 months, any older must be neutered.

You are welcome to come out on these walks with us if you wish. We take these dogs out for a walk with one dog walker and no other dogs to begin with. We slowly introduce them to other dogs we walk in a carefully selected group. This means that there is one handler to control one dog, so if any issues arise, they can quickly get the dog away from the situation and correct any problems as they happen.

Once they’ve met and know each other as a walking group, dogs being so sociable, many will simply be excited anticipating their venture and will focus on that and not on the dogs that they already know. Then we know it is time for them to join the groups. We will discuss with you which group they will fit into. We offer a small group for the dogs that are not quite ready for a full group and we do have two prices for the full groups, one for the dogs that will get along with any other dogs, and one for the ones that will get along with most, but not all.

Please do note, there are no guarantees that all dogs will be suitable for group walks, and if this is the case after 20 walks, we may no longer be available to walk them and will advise you get a solo dog if we cannot fit them in as our solo walk spaces and difficult dog program spaces are very limited. However, if after 20 walks they are not ready but we can still see potential to join a group, we will continue.

These walks will generally take over 1 hour, but they may be away from home for longer as we may be taking them to meet another group and we can never guarantee where they will be. Availability varies due to location. Some locations may need an extra mileage.

We do recommend these dogs are also seen by a certified dog behaviourist, please note, this is not the same as a dog trainer, police dog handler or any other uncertified people who go out to help dogs with issues.

50% discount for each additional dog from the same address on the same walk.

After each walk we will hose the dogs down if there is a hose available, and aquasorb them off. If you want a little extra, please leave out a clean towel for a final polish. If you require any further cleaning, please see our extra clean service.
1 Hour Difficult Dog Program

From £28 (FCM)

A full 120 minutes of group walking, consisting of either a full 2 hour walk or two one hour walks, depending on who else needs walking that day. Great for those that are left a little longer than you like, or need a little bit more. With so many beautiful places to go to take the dogs, we are all spoilt for choice. Most range from short riverside walks to long, relaxing, peaceful walks on the moors. Most walks are free from roads with heavy traffic and full of places to run and play.

Our service is designed for clients who are unable to take their dog out and give them what they need. We are here to take the pressure away so you're able to get on with your day knowing that your dog has been exercised, had fun, played with friends and then is left at home without the stress of being left in a kennel for the day.

How does it work?

We will arrange a complimentary visit to you at your home at a time to suit yourself (often in the early evenings). We will meet you and your dogs and get fully acquainted, answer all your questions and obtain a key.

All of our team of dog walkers are fully insured and registered. Our insurance company is LRMS Insurance Services Limited, trading as: Pet Business Insurance. Each team member is insured to walk up to six dogs at a time (maximum) but walks generally consist of four or less unless we are having a puppy party in a carefully selected area, where dog walkers meet up to socialise the dogs and let them have fun as they like it, the more the merrier and all certificates and references can be viewed.

Most insurance companies only insure up to a maximum of six dogs at any one time so dog walkers that walk more than six dogs at a time might not be insured. However, we generally prefer to do groups of up to four dogs. We are insured for six to ensure we can cover other team members in emergencies. On the day of the walk, your dog walker will pick your dog up at the agreed slot and take them out for a fun, off lead if it is safe, group walk with other dogs. On return, they will generally leave them where they found them in your house unless told otherwise. Aquasorbed down to ensure the bulk of the dirt is off. Please have an available hose, or a suitable dog cleaner if they need extra attention, you know your dog better than anyone.

We try to integrate them into a group as soon as possible, but this is not always straight forward, and sometimes, they join a group and we find they need to go back to solo walks so that they have one on one with a dog handler to ensure there is as few issues as possible. It is not a process that should be rushed, as this can cause more problems.

We do recommend these dogs are also seen by a certified dog behaviourist, please note, this is not the same as a dog trainer, police dog handler or any other uncertified people who go out to help dogs with issues.

Anytime 60 minute group walk

From £12 (FCM)

Some dogs can go on a walk and all they need upon return is a towel down, however, some dogs are mud magnets or long haired breeds. After each walk, we will always hose down the dogs if a hose is available and aquasorb them and polish with your own towel if this is provided, but if you need more than this, we do offer an additional service where we will take extra time over cleaning them, but do remember, we are not a groomers, that would be an extra £25. If you provide a suitable place, and a blaster, we will pick out the extra debris and blast them off for you. some clients like to leave out a suitable dog dry shampoo. However, if we are doing this, we can not leave dogs in the car, so we need to ensure your dog is the last one dropped off, and this too takes extra time and extra mileage.
